Office Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member
Part Time in Moraga, CA
Looking to add a part-time office representative to our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, warm and professional service to existing and prospective customers, primarily over the phone, email, text and sometimes in person (e.g. prepare meeting materials, communicate policy information, answer policy or payment questions, educate people about policy features and benefits, process policy changes, develop rapport and gather information from prospective customers, etc.)
- Liaise with Underwriters, Service Team and Claims Department to answer questions, resolve various policy or claim issues, and to advocate on behalf of our customers
- Provide support for other agency functions, as needed
- Opportunity to expand responsibilities and/or grow into a sales or account management role, if desired (including potentially a full-time role)
Key Qualifications
- Highly ethical, honest and reliable; positive can-do attitude and excitement to learn, contribute and grow as part of a successful team!
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; proactive communication style
- Self-motivated, productive and organized; high level of self-accountability and drive
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer proficient – familiar and fluid with Windows-based computer systems; able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Insurance experience and licensing is NOT REQUIRED (although certainly a bonus)
- Need to live within a reasonably commutable distance of our office in Moraga (this is an in-office role and reliability is important)
Compensation $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
